PFL Unveils Superfight Championship Belts for Ngannou vs Ferreira Event

Francis Ngannou and Renan Ferreira will compete for the PFL Superfight heavyweight title in Saudi Arabia this Saturday, marking Ngannou’s debut with the promotion after leaving UFC, while Cris Cyborg and Larissa Pacheco also vie for new Superfight titles.

Francis Ngannou and Renan Ferreira are set to clash for a shiny new championship belt this Saturday. Exciting, right?

These colossal heavyweights are headlining the weekend’s PFL pay-per-view event. They’ll fight for the PFL Superfight heavyweight title in Saudi Arabia. For Ngannou, it’s his first bout since leaving the UFC heavyweight division to join PFL.

On Monday, PFL unveiled their new Superfight titles. Ngannou, Ferreira, Cris Cyborg, and Larissa Pacheco will all be vying for these coveted belts. Curious? Check out the new designs below.

Ngannou hasn’t competed in MMA since his victory over Ciryl Gane at UFC 270 in January 2022. Since then, he stepped into the boxing ring but lost to top-ranked Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua. Quite a journey!

Ferreira is on fire! He’s stopped his last four opponents, including a swift 21-second knockout of Bellator champ Ryan Bader at PFL vs. Bellator in February.

Meanwhile, Cyborg makes her debut with the promotion and returns to MMA after over a year away. The Bellator women’s featherweight champ has been busy, scoring two boxing knockouts in 2024.

Pacheco is coming off consecutive $1 million PFL championships. Her recent triumphs include defeating now-UFC fighter Kayla Harrison at the PFL World Championships 2022 event. Can she keep up the streak?
