Macy Chiasson scored the biggest win of her UFC career, but not without a little controversy.
Chiasson earned a second-round TKO stoppage over Mayra Bueno Silva after slicing open a gruesome cut above Silva’s eye with an elbow. Silva tried as hard as possible to convince the cageside physician to allow her to continue. Ultimately, she was ruled unable to compete, instantly rocketing Chiasson up into a contendership position within the UFC women’s bantamweight division.
