Rose Namajunas showcased her dominance in a main event victory at UFC Denver, defeating Tracy Cortez and receiving praise on social media for her performance.
Rose Namajunas is still one of the best in the world.
Twice a champion at 115 pounds, Namajunas is looking more and more comfortable up a division at flyweight. She scored another main event victory to close out UFC Denver.
Namajunas handed up-and-coming contender Tracy Cortez her first loss inside the octagon. It was a vintage performance that showcased all facets of her well-rounded game.
Cortez was rocked early in the fight. It looked as though Namajunas’ punches knocked off a set of fake eyelashes that Cortez was wearing.
As expected, the Twittersphere was quick to jump on this detail. Alan Jouban marveled that Namajunas “literally punched her eyelash off!”
It didn’t get much better for Cortez from there. Namajunas controlled the action for 25 minutes.
Though she showed her fighting spirit in the later rounds, Cortez couldn’t avoid being shut out on the cards.
Rose looks like Mayweather in there with the vision and movement.

Everything about Tracy’s performance was bad. Even her eyelashes were badly executed.
