Youssef Zalal secured a unanimous decision victory over Calvin Kattar at UFC Vegas 102, marking his fourth consecutive win since returning to the UFC, though some criticized his cautious approach in the final round.
Youssef Zalal snagged a big win at UFC Vegas 102 on Saturday, but not everyone was impressed.
In the co-main event, Zalal showcased his technical prowess against Calvin Kattar. He outmaneuvered and out-struck the seasoned featherweight for three rounds, securing a unanimous decision. Yet, in Round 3, he seemed to ease up, allowing Kattar to close the gap on the scorecards.
This victory marked Zalal’s fourth consecutive UFC win since his return in 2024. Undefeated streak intact!
Despite this career-highlight win, some weren’t thrilled with Zalal’s finish. Henry Cejudo, former two-division champ and soon-to-be headliner at UFC Seattle, took a jab at Zalal’s late-game tactics. He humorously likened him to Usain Bolt.
“Welcome back, Usain Bolt,” Cejudo tweeted.

Man!! @CalvinKattar is such a dawg.. Hate to see him go 4 losses in a row!! Wish he would’ve thrown some punches to the body to make up for all that head movement. But take nothing away from Zalal!! That was a great performance. #ufc #ufcfightnight
