Former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson revealed that he cried in the locker room after witnessing his friend and teammate Michael Bisping get knocked out by Dan Henderson at UFC 100, feeling partly responsible as one of Bisping’s main training partners at the time.

Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, a former UFC light heavyweight champ, isn’t one to get teary-eyed over his own losses. But, one brutal defeat of a friend and teammate had him sobbing like a baby.
It’s all Dan Henderson’s fault, really.
This emotional meltdown happened in the locker room during UFC 100. Henderson had just unleashed a devastating right hook on Michael Bisping. The punch was so powerful it knocked out Bisping, the future UFC middleweight king. It was a jaw-dropping finish that left everyone stunned.
Jackson and Bisping were tight back then, like brothers. He confessed this on his podcast. “We’re not as close now, some bulls*** happened with our managers,” he said. But back then, it was him, Bisping, and [Cheick] Kongo. They were like a band of brothers.
“I never cried when I got knocked out. But when Bisping got knocked out that one time – it was [Dan Henderson] – I cried in the locker room!” Jackson admitted. He was so affected by Bisping’s defeat that he felt ashamed.
Jackson even blamed himself a bit. He was one of Bisping’s main teammates and training partners at the time. He felt like he could’ve done more to help Bisping in training.
But, none of that mattered when Henderson’s infamous “H-bomb” connected with Bisping’s chin.
“I felt like, at the time, maybe I didn’t help him good enough in training or something,” Jackson confessed. “I just felt bad for him. I remember crying in the locker room like what the f*** is wrong with me. Why am I crying? I never cry, it’s weird.”
Henderson, a guest on the podcast, couldn’t relate. When asked if he ever cried watching a teammate suffer a loss, he simply said “No.”
But, Bisping had the last laugh. He became the UFC middleweight champion and beat Henderson in their 2016 rematch. Now that’s sweet revenge.
