Rampage Jackson Threatens Anthony Smith Over Podcast Dispute

Quinton “Rampage” Jackson responded angrily to Anthony Smith‘s criticism of his podcast, defending his and T.J. Dillashaw’s comments about fighters and threatening a physical confrontation with Smith for misinterpreting their intentions.

Quinton "Rampage" Jackson isn’t too thrilled with Anthony Smith’s take on his podcast business. On a recent episode of Jackson’s JAXXON show, he chatted with fellow ex-UFC champ T.J. Dillashaw. They delved into Kevin Holland‘s untapped potential, with Dillashaw claiming Holland lacks the discipline to ever be a champion.

Smith, another UFC title hopeful, got caught in the crossfire during this chat. He responded on his own podcast, On Paper. Initially criticizing Jackson for hosting controversial UFC fighter Bryce Mitchell, Smith’s critique expanded. He accused Jackson and co-host Bear Degidio of disrespecting fighters who might be future guests.

"You bring fighters on, you shit on them—It happened to me," Smith vented. He reminisced about being treated well by Jackson during his appearance but felt blindsided later when they mocked him alongside Dillashaw. Smith argued that while Rampage plays the funny guy, the show’s tone is often dismissive.

The duo’s treatment of Ian Garry was another sore point for Smith. They called Garry a cuck before inviting him on, which Smith found distasteful. "Whether you think Ian Garry’s a cuck or not," he said, "you can’t bring the motherf*cker on the show after that."

Jackson didn’t take kindly to Smith’s remarks and fired back through his YouTube channel. He launched into a profanity-laced rant, threatening physical confrontation if he sees Smith again. "I saw this f*cking post that Anthony Smith did… pissed me off," Jackson exclaimed.

He claimed they were actually supportive during Dillashaw’s critique of Smith. Jackson insisted they weren’t mocking him and even DM’d Smith to clarify. Yet, feeling ignored, Jackson’s frustration boiled over: "You left me on read… I wasn’t making fun of your b*tch ass."

Rampage mentioned he could’ve mocked Smith’s December 2023 knockout loss to Khalil Rountree but refrained because he respects the fighter code. In his view, fighters jesting at each other is fair game.

Defending Dillashaw’s comments further, Jackson expressed respect for Dillashaw standing by his words. He criticized what he sees as overly sensitive reactions from some fighters: "Y’all need to chill the f*ck out."

The clip ends with an irate Jackson storming off, hinting at a possible showdown with Smith if their paths cross soon. “Tell that Anthony Smith motherfcker… I see his btch ass I’m going to smack the f*ck out of him,” he warned.

And there you have it—drama in the MMA podcast world!
