Former UFC light heavyweight champions Quinton Jackson and Rashad Evans are set to face each other in a boxing match at ICS Mania in Albuquerque, N.M., scheduled for 2025.
Two former UFC light heavyweight champs are gearing up to clash again—this time, in the boxing ring.
Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Rashad Evans have confirmed they’ll face off in a boxing match at ICS Mania later this year. The Influencer Crossover Series even teased the matchup on their Instagram page.
While the event doesn’t have a set date yet, it’s slated for 2025 in Albuquerque, N.M. Yep, still a bit of a wait!
Their first encounter? Back in May 2010 at UFC 114, where Evans snagged a unanimous decision victory. This was after they coached against each other on season 10 of *The Ultimate Fighter*. Fast forward to now, Evans makes his combat sports comeback post-retirement with a win over Gabriel Checco for Eagle FC in 2022.
As for Jackson, he hasn’t fought since December 2019 when he suffered a first-round KO loss to Fedor Emelianenko at Bellator 237. “Rampage” boasts a career record of 20-10 from his UFC and PRIDE days and clinched victories in five out of eight Bellator bouts.
