Alice Ardelean needs a new opponent for UFC Vegas 99. Rayanne dos Santos announced on social media that she suffered an arm break.

UFC Vegas 99 is set for Oct. 19 at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas. The main event features Michel Pereira vs. Anthony Hernandez.

It’s unclear if Ardelean will stay on the card with a new opponent. The situation remains fluid.

“I was going to fight on October 19 in Las Vegas, against Alice Ardelean,” dos Santos wrote. “But unfortunately, I broke my arm in training.”

She added, “I still can’t believe it. I’m heartbroken, but God knows of all things.”

“I’ll heal, and I can’t wait to get back,” she concluded.

Ardelean (9-6) earned her UFC deal this year after winning five straight in the regional scene. She lost a split decision to Shauna Bannon in her debut match.

Dos Santos (14-8) is a former Invicta FC champion. She has yet to win inside the octagon, dropping split decisions to Talita Alencar and Puja Tomar under the UFC banner.
