Conor Benn, a rising British boxing star and WBA Continental welterweight champ, was in the spotlight. He was mid-interview with IFL TV when Ryan Garcia made his entrance. Naturally, someone asked if Benn would fight Garcia. His answer? A solid yes.

As for Benn’s recent exploits, he last fought nearly a year ago. He scored a unanimous decision victory over Peter Dobson in Las Vegas back in February 2024.

To add to his woes, he’s dealing with an injured wrist that needs surgery. This injury postponed his planned exhibition match with Rukiya Anpo at RIZIN’s New Year’s Eve event in Japan. But don’t count him out just yet; Garcia has promised to face Anpo sometime this year.
