After a video of former UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland beating up streamer Sneako went viral, influencer boxer Bryce Hall challenged Strickland to a spar, which Strickland accepted, laying out the ground rules in a direct message to Hall.
Sean Strickland’s got a beef. And it’s not with just any Joe Schmo. Nope, he’s got a bone to pick with social media bigwigs and celebs.
A video went viral. It was Sean Strickland, ex-UFC middleweight champ, giving a beatdown to Sneako, a streamer. One-sided, no less. Jake Paul noticed.
Then, Bryce Hall, influencer and boxer, got asked about it. Inside Fighting wanted his take. He thought it was “kind of messed up.” Then, he threw down a challenge.
“I wanna spar Sean Strickland,” Hall said. “Dana [White], set it up. I’m ready to spar. I can take Strickland down, I swear.”
Strickland heard about Hall’s interview. And, surprise, surprise, he’s in. But he’s got a twist. Something for Hall to mull over. The 185-pound fighter even DM’d Hall with the rules.
“You all wanna see a dead body???” Strickland tweeted. “God, this is all I’ve ever wanted… Please, I never ask for anything… please!!!”
“OK deal,” Strickland said. “You and me, this week. I’ll give you a place. Bring a GoPro or whatever. Just us two, I’m sick of this gym BS. Ready to man up for once?”
Hall’s response? Crickets. He’s got some fight experience, though. He’s done influencer boxing matches, even won a second-round stoppage at BKFC last August.
Strickland’s last fight was at UFC 297 in January. He lost the middleweight title to Dricus du Plessis. It was a close one, decided by split decision.
