The UFC is gearing up for an exciting return to Mexico with some fresh matchups on the card.
On Friday, the promotion revealed three new bouts for UFC Mexico City. Among them? A lightweight clash between crowd-pleasers Drew Dober and Manuel Torres. But that’s not all—there’s also a strawweight showdown featuring Loopy Godinez versus Julia Polastri, and a flyweight face-off with Ronaldo Rodriguez taking on Kevin Borjas.
Mark your calendars: Brandon Moreno will go toe-to-toe with Steve Erceg in a five-round main event on March 29 at Arena CDMX.
Dober’s been facing some tough battles lately. He’s on a two-fight losing streak, snagging just one victory in his last four outings. His latest bout saw him fall to Jean Silva at UFC Denver in July, though it was the Fight of the Night!
Meanwhile, Torres is eager to rebound after his first octagon defeat by Ignacio Bahamondes at UFC 306 in September. Before that hiccup, he impressively finished six straight opponents in the first round. Quite the comeback story brewing here!
