Tommy Fury Withdraws from Darren Till Fight; Till & KSI Respond

Tommy Fury withdrew from his scheduled boxing match against Darren Till, citing concerns over Till’s comments about potentially using MMA tactics during the fight, which led to a heated response from Till on social media.

Tommy Fury genuinely believed Darren Till might kick him in the head. Fury announced on Instagram that he’s withdrawing from their anticipated fight at Misfits Boxing 20 on January 18.

“I can’t believe I’m writing this,” Fury confessed. “But I am now not fighting Darren Till on January 18th, 2025.” He explained, “Darren has repeatedly stated he won’t abide by professional boxing rules.”

Fury expressed frustration over wasted training weeks. “We are working hard to get a new opponent and date,” he promised. “Good news around the corner.”

Till was far from pleased, venting his anger on Twitter. He claimed his team knew Fury would pull out but kept it from him.

“Tommy, you were never ready for that date,” Till tweeted furiously. He accused Fury of being a “shithouse” and questioned his readiness.

Till continued his tirade, mocking Fury’s fighting reputation. He insisted he didn’t need kicks to win and called out Jake Paul for a potential fight.

Clarifying the situation, Till noted that Fury was the event’s A-side. “He was getting more money and calling the shots,” he admitted.

Despite Fury pulling out, Till remains committed to fighting on January 18. “Now I’m the A-side,” he declared confidently.

KSI also chimed in with humor, suggesting Fury feared getting kicked in a boxing match. Meanwhile, Jake Paul added his thoughts as well.

At a previous press conference, Till had made provocative remarks about potentially kicking Fury. “I’m an MMA fighter,” he asserted defiantly.

With Fury’s withdrawal, Misfits Boxing 20 may need a new main event. However, Till seems determined to still be part of next month’s card.
