UFC 247 will have fans talking for days to come. Light heavyweight champion Jon Jones retained his championship against Dominick Reyes by unanimous decision. The judges scored the fight 49-46, 48-47 and 48-47 in Jones favor.
Reyes proved that he was a worthy challenger to Jones, with some people thinking he won the fight. Jones made history setting the record for most title wins in the UFC with 14. Also on the card women’s flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko retained her championship with a TKO win over Katlyn Chookagian in the third round. Shevchenko proved to be too much for Chookagian and showed that she is could be the women’s flyweight champion for a long time.
