UFC 271 gave fight fans all they could ask for on Saturday night. The event was live from inside the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. Israel Adesanya defeated Robert Whittaker by Decision (Unanimous) Saturday, and in the co-main event, Tai Tuivasa defeated Derrick Lewis in round 2 by KO (Elbow).

This was 592nd event in Ultimate Fighting Championship history, including pay-per-views, UFC Fight Nights, and TUF finales. The pay-per-view card streamed on ESPN+ PPV following prelims on ESPN/ESPN+. UFC 271 had 13 bouts scheduled. Douglas Silva de Andrade vs. Sergey Morozov was awarded the Fight of the Night bonus. The Performance of the Night bonuses went to Tai Tuivasa and Jared Cannonier. The fighters took home an extra $50,000.
