UFC 288’s main card features bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling defending his title against former two-division champ Henry Cejudo.
The main card for the UFC’s next pay-per-view event, UFC 288, is set to take place on May 6 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, with the bantamweight championship in the spotlight. In the main event, Aljamain Sterling will defend his 135-pound title against former two-division champ Henry Cejudo.
The co-main event will feature former lightweight champion Charles Oliveira as he seeks to regain momentum in his first fight since losing the title to Islam Makhachev at UFC 280 this past October. Oliveira will face rising contender Beneil Dariush. In addition, a crucial strawweight matchup is scheduled for the featured bout, with Jessica Andrade returning to the 115-pound division to battle Yan Xiaonan. Featherweights Bryce Mitchell and Jonathan Pearce will also clash in the second main card bout.
Kicking off the main card is the long-awaited return of Kron Gracie, who will make his first octagon appearance in nearly four years as he takes on Charles Jourdain. The full main card lineup promises an exciting night of fights for UFC fans to look forward to.
