Aljamain Sterling, former UFC bantamweight champion, recently faced a short medical suspension following his TKO loss to Sean O’Malley during UFC 292‘s main event. As a result of a brow laceration, Sterling, also known as the “Funkmaster,” was given a suspension of 30 days. Besides, he was asked to avoid any contact for another 45 days following his second-round knockout defeat that took place on Aug. 19 at TD Garden.
