The UFC awarded extra bonuses, including $50,000 to new light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira, for their performances at UFC 295.

The UFC awarded additional bonuses for UFC 295, with new light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira receiving a well-deserved $50,000 bonus for his second-round victory over ex-champ Jiri Prochazka at Madison Square Garden in New York City, announced UFC CEO Dana White at the post-event press conference.
In addition to Pereira, a total of five fighters received “Performance of the Night” bonuses for their finishes, while the prelim draw between Nazim Sadykhov and Viacheslav Borshchev was recognized as the “Fight of the Night,” offering a silver lining for the lightweights.
The five remaining bonus winners included Diego Lopes, who earned a bonus for his 90-second knockout of Pat Sabatini, as well as breakout lightweight Benoit Saint Denis, who secured his third bonus by defeating Matt Frevola in just 91 seconds.

Former strawweight champ Jessica Andrade also received a bonus for her victory over Mackenzie Dern, delivering Dern her first knockout loss with a blitz of punches at 3:15 of Round 2. Newly minted interim heavyweight champ Tom Aspinall earned his sixth performance bonus for his quick stoppage of Sergei Pavlovich, while Pereira secured his fourth UFC performance bonus for his TKO of Prochazka at 4:08 of Round 2 in the main event.
