MMA fighters Tabatha Ricci and Loopy Godinez are preparing to face off in a strawweight bout at UFC 295, potentially elevating their current rankings in the MMA Fighting Global Rankings.

Tabatha Ricci and Loopy Godinez are on track for a higher ranking in the female MMA world. It could be a significant leap, as both players could potentially break into the top 10 soon. Reportedly, the duo are set to square off in a strawweight bout at the UFC 295 event. This upcoming matchup is scheduled for Nov. 11 at the world-renowned Madison Square Garden in New York, according to verified sources.

Ricci and Godinez currently hold the No. 13 and No. 15 positions respectively in the Global Rankings. They are dominant in the 115 pounds category. Interestingly, Godinez shares the 15th spot with another prominent fighter, Xiong Jing Nan, who is a standout in the ONE Championship. Given their solid track records, it appears that both Ricci and Godinez will undoubtedly put on a remarkable show in November.

Godinez is evidencing a quick comeback since her professional career development in 2021. She has consistently been active in both the strawweight and flyweight categories, maintaining an impressive record of 6 wins and 3 losses in the UFC. This includes stellar victories over reputed fighters like Emily Ducote, Cynthia Calvillo, and Loma Lookboonmee. On the other hand, Ricci, also known as “Baby Shark”, has been undefeated since her initial UFC loss against Manon Fiorot. She accumulated four straight victories in the strawweight category, most notably clinching a unanimous decision over Gillian Robertson in her last fight at UFC Jacksonville.
