Arnold Allen is set to face Giga Chikadze at UFC 304 in Manchester, England, on July 27, aiming to avoid a three-fight losing streak.
Arnold Allen is set to fight on home turf. The crowd’s gonna be wild.
Word on the street is that Allen’s up against Giga Chikadze. UFC 304, that’s the stage. It’s all going down on July 27 at the spanking new Co-Op Live in Manchester, England. Super Lutas was the first to spill the beans about this match-up.
Allen’s got a lot on his plate. He’s staring down the barrel of a three-fight losing streak. Not a great look after the first two losses of his pro MMA career. He started off strong in the UFC, a solid 10-0. But then, the “Almighty” fell. Twice. Max Holloway took him down at UFC Kansas City in April 2023. Then Movsar Evloev handed him another defeat at UFC 297 in January.
Before all that, Allen was on a roll. He scored stoppage wins against Calvin Kattar and Dan Hooker. Even bagged a unanimous decision win against Sodiq Yusuff.
Chikadze? He’s on the hunt for consistency in 2024. He’s only stepped into the ring once since Kattar handed him his first UFC loss at UFC Vegas 46 in January 2022. But he did score a decision win against Alex Caceres at UFC Singapore in August 2023. So, there’s that.
Oh, and a quick shout-out to Damon Martin. He helped put this report together.
