UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards and lightweight Paddy Pimblett will debut new custom shorts in their respective bouts this Saturday in Manchester, with Edwards defending his title against Belal Muhammad and Pimblett seeking a ranking by facing King Green.
UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards and surging lightweight Paddy Pimblett will both have fresh new looks when they compete this Saturday in Manchester, England.
Edwards defends his title against Belal Muhammad in the main event. Meanwhile, Pimblett aims to get a ranking next to his name as he faces King Green in the featured bout.
Both fighters will wear new custom shorts, which were revealed on the Venum website. Check out photos of the custom shorts for Edwards and Pimblett below.
Edwards is looking for his third title defense following decision wins over Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington. “Rocky” is unbeaten over 13 fights — a streak that has lasted close to a decade.
He meets Muhammad for the second time after their first fight ended in a no contest due to an accidental eye poke back in March 2021. Quite the history between these two!
Pimblett, on the other hand, is 5-0 inside the octagon heading into his toughest career test yet. In his most recent outing, “The Baddy” defeated former interim lightweight champ Tony Ferguson via unanimous decision at UFC 296 this past December.
It’s shaping up to be an exciting night of fights!
