Khamzat Chimaev and Ilia Topuria achieved remarkable victories at UFC 308, earning $50,000 Performance of the Night bonuses for their impressive finishes, while Shara Magomedov also received a bonus for his thrilling knockout, and Mateusz Rebecki and Myktybek Orolbai were awarded Fight of the Night honors.
Khamzat Chimaev and Ilia Topuria achieved the unthinkable, earning them substantial rewards.
UFC 308’s headliners delivered jaw-dropping finishes. Chimaev submitted Robert Whittaker with a brutal hold, while Topuria knocked out Max Holloway in the third round of the main event.
Both fighters snagged $50,000 Performance of the Night bonuses, as UFC CEO Dana White announced post-fight.
Chimaev is now only the second fighter to submit Whittaker, a feat last achieved before Whittaker even joined the UFC in 2011. Meanwhile, Topuria marked his name as the first to KO Holloway, a seasoned champ with 34 pro fights under his belt.
UFC 308 didn’t skimp on excitement. White’s crew handed an additional bonus to Shara Magomedov, aka “Shara Bullet.”
The undefeated middleweight kicked off the main card with flair, knocking out Armen Petrosyan using consecutive spinning backfists—talk about style!
Fight of the Night? That honor went to Mateusz Rebecki vs. Myktybek Orolbai.
These two tore into each other for three rounds. Orolbai’s right eye swelled alarmingly. Rebecki took home a split decision win, but both left Abu Dhabi with bonuses well-earned.
Oddly missing from the bonus list was light heavyweight Ibo Aslan, who needed just 51 seconds to floor Raffael Cerqueira. White mentioned no sixth $50,000 bonus would be given but assured Aslan of an undisclosed reward.
