The first few fights for UFC 312 have been unveiled, marking the promotion’s return to Sydney, Australia, on Feb. 8. Exciting times ahead!

Among the matchups, Jimmy Crute is set to make his comeback after over a year away from the octagon. He’ll face Marcin Prachnio in a light heavyweight clash.

Crute last fought in 2023, where his record slipped to 0-3-1 over four bouts. He chose to take a break before stepping back into the cage. Meanwhile, Prachnio aims to rebound from a recent loss, hoping to build momentum after going 4-3 in his past seven UFC fights.

In another thrilling matchup, undefeated prospect Rei Tsuruya returns to action in Australia. He’s putting his flawless 10-0 record on the line against Stewart Nicoll.

Local favorite Quillan Salkilld will make his octagon debut, taking on Anshul Jubli. Jubli is eager to recover from his loss to Mike Breeden back in October 2023.

UFC 312 will take place at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney. The main event is yet to be announced, but there’s buzz around several local fighters wanting bouts on home turf.

Former featherweight champ Alexander Volkanovski has expressed interest in fighting in Australia. He’s looking to bounce back after a defeat to Ilia Topuria this past February.

So many intriguing storylines! Can’t wait to see how it all unfolds.
