Gutierrez made his UFC debut back in 2018. He won seven of his first nine fights, which got him into the top 15 after beating Frankie Edgar at UFC 281. But then, a rollercoaster ride. In 2023, he faced tough losses against Pedro Munhoz and Song Yadong. Recently, though, he bounced back with a win over Quang Le at UFC Vegas 95 last August.
Matsumoto? Undefeated and on fire! At just 25, he’s one of the hottest prospects in the bantamweight division. He came through the Contender Series in 2023 and had an impressive debut year in the UFC in 2024. Wins over Dan Argueta and Brad Katona have put him on everyone’s radar at 135 pounds.
