UFC 313 Adds Three New Matchups for March Event

The UFC has added three new fights to its March 8 pay-per-view event in Las Vegas, featuring Mairon Santos vs. Francis Marshall, Alex Morono vs. Carlos Leal, and Bruno Silva vs. Joshua Van, with the headlining fight for UFC 313 yet to be announced.

The UFC’s March 8 pay-per-view in Las Vegas is heating up with three exciting new matchups. Mairon Santos, the The Ultimate Fighter featherweight champ, returns to face Francis Marshall. Plus, Alex Morono takes on Carlos Leal at welterweight. Oh, and don’t forget Bruno Silva versus Joshua Van at flyweight!

MMA Fighting confirmed these bouts after reports from Ag. Fight and Octagon Updates. Seems like everyone’s talking about it.

Still no word on who’ll headline UFC 313 at the T-Mobile Arena. The suspense is real.

Santos (14-1) fought his way to the TUF 32 final with decision wins over Edwin Cooper Jr. and Guillermo Torres. He then knocked out Kaan Ofli to grab the trophy. Quite the journey!

Marshall (8-2) is back after evening his UFC record to 2-2 with a split decision win over Dennis Buzukja last August. Ready for more action?

Morono (24-11, 1 no contest) is feeling the heat after dropping four of his last six fights in the UFC. Recent losses include decisions to Niko Price and Daniel Rodriguez.

Leal (21-6) seeks his first UFC win after stepping in last minute against Rinat Fakhretdinov at UFC 308, where he lost by decision. A tough break since leaving the PFL in 2023.

Van (12-2) aims to extend his two-fight winning streak over Cody Durden and Edgar Chairez this March. Facing him is Silva (14-6-2, 1 no contest), coming off a knockout loss to Manel Kape at UFC Tampa, which snapped his four-fight win streak.
