The UFC 313 card, set for March 8 at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena, is shaping up to be a Brazil vs. The World event with nine Brazilian fighters featured in seven match-ups, including the latest additions of Jhonata Diniz vs. Vitor Petrino and Djorden Santos vs. Ozzy Diaz.
The UFC hasn’t announced the main event for UFC 313 on March 8 yet. But so far, the card’s shaping up like a Brazil vs. The World showdown. Nine Brazilians in seven match-ups at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena? Sounds exciting!
Recent additions to the line-up include Jhonata Diniz vs. Vitor Petrino at heavyweight. Plus, middleweights Djorden Santos and Ozzy Diaz are set to clash. MMA Fighting confirmed it after reports from Laerte Viana and Marcel Dorff.
Petrino (11-2) is moving up in weight. He faced tough losses against Anthony Smith and Dustin Jacoby in 2024, bringing his octagon record to 4-2. Meanwhile, Diniz (8-1) was initially booked against Derrick Lewis but ended up fighting Marcin Tybura, losing via doctor stoppage.
Santos (10-1) earned his UFC contract by defeating Will Currie on Dana White’s Contender Series. Ex-LFA champ Diaz seeks redemption after losing to Zhang Mingyang via first-round stoppage last November.
