Well, ten fighters from UFC Atlantic City are on the bench until they get a thumbs-up from the doc. Among them, you’ve got ex-middleweight champ Chris Weidman and Bruno Silva.
The middleweight match? It ended in a technical decision. Why? Turns out, Silva’s eyes took a few too many pokes. Now, he needs a doctor’s okay for his eye after losing on points to Weidman. And Weidman? He’s gotta get a CT scan before he’s back in the ring.
Manon Fiorot, the main event winner, is also on the list for doctor’s clearance. After a shutout win over Erin Blanchfield, she was straight off to the hospital. Could be a title shot in the flyweight division on the horizon for the French fighter.
