UFC bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley will make his commentary debut alongside Mauro Ranallo and Shawn Porter for the boxing card headlined by Jorge Masvidal vs. Nate Diaz, with the event available on pay-per-view through Fanmio and UFC Fight Pass.
UFC bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley is stepping into a new role. He’s joining the broadcast team for the upcoming boxing card headlined by Jorge Masvidal vs. Nate Diaz.
O’Malley will be calling the fights alongside veteran play-by-play man Mauro Ranallo and former boxing champion Shawn Porter. Quite the lineup, huh?
O’Malley has quickly become one of the fastest-rising stars in the UFC. After claiming the 135-pound title with a knockout over Aljamain Sterling, he’s been on fire.
Most recently, he defended his belt against Chito Vera in March. Now, he’s eyeing a showdown with Merab Dvalishvili before year’s end.
But first things first: O’Malley will call some boxing matches this Saturday. It’s going to be interesting to see him in this new role.
In between fights, Amanda Guerra from Bellator MMA will be at the broadcast desk. She’ll be joined by Mike Majlak from Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast and former Strikeforce champion Josh Thomson.
Brian Campbell, co-host of Morning Kombat, will serve as the event reporter. Sibley Scoles, Las Vegas Raiders in-game host, will perform similar duties for the Masvidal vs. Diaz card.
The broadcast team is set to cover the full event from Anaheim. Masvidal and Diaz will square off in a 10-round fight contested at 175 pounds.
The pay-per-view broadcast costs $49.99 through Fanmio and will also be available on UFC Fight Pass. So many ways to watch!
