Youssef Zalal secured a Performance of the Night bonus for his second-round submission win at UFC Edmonton, alongside Dustin Stoltzfus, Jasmine Jasudavicius, and Charles Jourdain, each earning an additional $50,000 for their impressive victories.
Youssef Zalal’s comeback to the UFC? Quite the money-maker.
Zalal snagged an impressive second-round submission victory over Jack Shore. How? With a picture-perfect knee at UFC Edmonton, no less. This win bumped his record to 3-0 in his latest UFC run. Oh, and it also scored him a Performance of the Night bonus—his second in a row for submission wins.
Interestingly, the UFC dished out four Performance of the Night bonuses at their recent Fight Night event. But guess what? No Fight of the Night awards this time around.
Dustin Stoltzfus bagged an extra check for his jaw-dropping first-round knockout against Marc-Andre Barriault. It was an upset, to say the least, during their main card middleweight clash. Meanwhile, Canada’s own Jasmine Jasudavicius and Charles Jourdain also pocketed bonuses after their submission victories.
Jasudavicius tapped out Ariane da Silva in round three, securing her third consecutive win—and her second career UFC post-fight bonus. As for Jourdain? He submitted Victor Henry in the second round, marking a successful bantamweight debut.
All four fighters walked away with an extra $50,000. Not too shabby!
