The UFC will return to Seattle for a Fight Night event at Climate Pledge Arena on February 22, marking its first visit since 2013.
Guess what? The UFC’s making a comeback to Seattle!
During the UFC 310 broadcast on Saturday, they spilled the beans. Yep, they’re returning to “The Emerald City” for a Fight Night event. Mark your calendars for Feb. 22 at Climate Pledge Arena.
Seattle hasn’t seen UFC action in quite some time. In fact, it’s been over ten years since their last visit. Back in July 2013, UFC on FOX 8 rocked the city with Demetrious Johnson and John Moraga headlining a flyweight title fight. Remember that one? Oh, and welterweight clashes like Rory MacDonald vs. Jake Ellenberger, plus Robbie Lawler facing Bobby Voelker, were part of the lineup too. All at Climate Pledge Arena—though it was called KeyArena back then.
As for UFC Seattle this time around? No fights have been announced yet. But with so many talented fighters from the Pacific Northwest, you can bet they’ll be eager to jump on this card.
