A middleweight matchup between past Contender Series contract winners Punahele Soriano and Sedriques Dumas is set to take place at UFC Jacksonville.

A middleweight matchup between past Contender Series contract winners is set to take place at UFC Jacksonville, scheduled for June 24 at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena. Punahele Soriano and Sedriques Dumas will face off in what promises to be an exciting bout. Both fighters have impressive records and backgrounds, with this upcoming fight representing a crucial point in their careers.

Soriano will make his seventh octagon appearance, aiming to bounce back after suffering losses in three of his last four fights. In his most recent outing, “Puna” was stopped by Roman Kopylov at UFC Vegas 67 in January. However, he managed to snap a two-fight losing streak with a second-round stoppage victory against Dalcha Lungiambula at UFC Long Island in July last year.

On the other hand, Dumas seeks his first promotional victory after suffering his sole professional loss in his octagon debut—a second-round submission against Josh Fremd—at UFC Las Vegas in March. Before this setback, the 27-year-old held an impressive 7-0 record with seven finishes, securing a UFC contract through a 47-second submission on the Contender Series in August. UFC Jacksonville will be headlined by a pivotal featherweight bout between Josh Emmett and Ilia Topuria.
