UFC lightweight star Paddy Pimblett and his wife Laura have welcomed twin girls, Betsy and Margot, born on April 17.
Well, let’s raise a toast to Paddy Pimblett. The guy’s on a roll.
He’s not just a rising UFC lightweight star anymore. Nope. He’s a dad now. And not just to one, but two little girls. He and his wife, Laura, welcomed their twins into the world recently. Betsy and Margot, born on April 17.
Wanna hear it from the man himself? Check out his Instagram post.
“[April 17] the day our lives changed forever,” he wrote. And then he added, “All worth it for yous [two] perfect little girls Betsy and Margot Pimblett.” Heartwarming, isn’t it?
Now, let’s talk about his career. Pimblett, at 29, is on a winning streak. Seven straight victories, folks. That includes all five of his octagon appearances. He’s been on fire, stopping Luigi Vendramini, Rodrigo Vargas, and Jordan Leavitt right at the start of his UFC journey.
And then? He’s “The Baddy” after all. He picked up a couple of decision wins against some seasoned fighters.
Remember UFC 282 in December 2022? That controversial unanimous decision victory over Jared Gordon? Yeah, that was him. And he didn’t stop there. He made a comeback in 2023, just over a year later, at UFC 296. And guess what? He defeated former interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson. And it wasn’t even close. It was a one-sided decision win.
So, here’s to Paddy Pimblett. A rising star, a new dad, and a force to be reckoned with in the UFC.
