Aspinall responded to Jones’ comment during an appearance on The MMA Hour, humorously pointing out Jones’ patronizing tone. Aspinall also disclosed plans to challenge the winner of the UFC Paris event between Ciryl Gane and Serghei Spivac, a choice he realizes could backfire if Spivac, whom he previously beat, emerged victorious. Moreover, Sergei Pavlovich, who is currently on a winning spree, could be a suitable title eliminator for Jones. Aspinall revealed that his ultimate goal, despite his focus on Jones, was to hold the UFC heavyweight title.
