The UFC is returning to Montreal for the first time in a decade with UFC 315 scheduled for May 10 at the Bell Center, marking its first visit since UFC 186 in April 2015.
Guess what? The UFC is finally making its way back to Montreal!
On Friday, the top dog in MMA promotions dropped a bombshell: UFC 315 is hitting Montreal on May 10 at the Bell Center. It’s been a whole decade since they last graced the city with their presence.
Montreal used to be a regular stop for the UFC, hosting seven pay-per-view events until 2015. The last time they were there was for UFC 186 in April of that year. Remember that one? Demetrious Johnson pulled off a jaw-dropping last-second armbar against Kyoji Horiguchi in the main event—his sixth title defense! Oh, and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson snagged a unanimous decision over Fabio Maldonado in the co-main event.
As for UFC 315, no fights are on the docket yet. But stay tuned; things will heat up soon enough!
