UFC announced it will return to Paris for an event on September 28 at Accor Arena, with tickets going on sale on July 5.
UFC is packing up and heading to Paris again this fall. The crowd’s gonna be loud, like, ear-splitting loud.
On Tuesday, the bigwigs at the promotion announced something. They’re hosting an event on Sept. 28 at Accor Arena. It’s the third year in a row they’re doing this. They didn’t spill any beans about the fights, though.
Tickets? They’re up for grabs from July 5, 10 a.m. local time. UFC Fight Club members, they’ve got a sweet deal. They can snag tickets two days before the rest of us.
Remember Ciryl Gane? The former UFC interim heavyweight champion? He was the main event at the last two UFC Paris events. And boy, did he deliver. He won both times, and not just wins, but stoppage wins.
The first time UFC hit Paris in September 2022, Gane was a beast. He stopped Tai Tuivasa in what can only be described as a slugfest. That victory got him a shot at the vacant heavyweight title. But then, Jon Jones submitted him at UFC 285 in March 2023. Tough break, huh?
But “Bon Gamin” bounced back. He fought in front of his home crowd last September. And guess what? He scored a second-round TKO win over Serghei Spivac.
