UFC Showdown: Tainara Lisboa Versus Darya Zheleznyakova

A women’s bantamweight match between Tainara Lisboa and promotional newcomer Darya Zheleznyakova has been confirmed for an upcoming UFC event at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas.

A women’s bantamweight bout featuring Tainara Lisboa and newcomer Darya Zheleznyakova has been scheduled to enhance the October docket of the UFC. Lisboa, who is making her second appearance in the UFC, will be tested by Zheleznyakova, who is just joining the UFC. Insiders familiar with the promotional activities of the UFC have confirmed that both warriors are set to clash at an event scheduled for October 14. It is widely anticipated that this match will take place at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas.

Tainara Lisboa, also known as “Thai Panther” is coming off a four-fight win streak, winning six of her last seven bouts with impressive finishing rates. Lisboa previously faced former flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko in a Muay Thai bout in 2010 where she dropped a decision. The 32-year-old mixed martial artist demonstrated her prowess at her UFC debut in May, where she submitted Jessica-Rose Clark in the third round at UFC Charlotte.

On the other hand, Darya Zheleznyakova has an impressive professional record to show for her exploits, which includes five victories secured via strikes. The 27-year-old fighter is making her first appearance in the promotion after a stint with Ares FC. She has a superb track record including an 87-second finish of Marie Loiseau at the Ares FC 14 event in April. She will be seeking to extend her successful streak with a strong showing against Lisboa in the forthcoming UFC event.
