Colby Covington received a 45-day medical suspension following his loss at UFC Tampa, while five other fighters, including Cub Swanson, received indefinite suspensions.
Colby Covington’s recent bout ended with a doctor’s stoppage, sidelining him temporarily. But don’t worry, he won’t be out for long. His clash with Joaquin Buckley at UFC Tampa was intense, but Covington’s only facing a 45-day suspension.
MMA Fighting got their hands on the full list of medical suspensions from last Saturday’s UFC Tampa event at Amalie Arena. According to the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, the Florida Athletic Commission has suspended Covington for 45 days.
Interestingly, five other fighters received indefinite suspensions after their matches. Co-main event victor Cub Swanson is among them. Others include Dustin Jacoby, Daniel Marcos, Tuco Tukkos, and Davey Grant.
