UFC Vegas 93 Bonuses: Tatsuro Taira Earns Extra $50k for Main Event Finish

Tatsuro Taira earned an extra $50,000 for his second-round injury TKO win over Alex Perez at UFC Vegas 93, where he claimed one of the Performance of the Night awards, while other bonuses went to Brady Hiestand and the Fight of the Night participants Gabriella Fernandez and Carli Judice.

Tatsuro Taira’s first UFC main event win? It turned out to be pretty lucrative.

Taira, now boasting a 16-0 record, snagged an extra $50,000. His second-round injury TKO finish of Alex Perez at UFC Vegas 93 earned him one of the Performance of the Night awards.

He turned a standing body triangle into a brutal takedown attempt, injuring Perez, a one-time title challenger.

At just 24, Taira is now 6-0 in the UFC with four finishes inside the octagon. Impressive, right?

Brady Hiestand also pocketed a $50,000 bonus. His third-round submission of Garrett Armfield in a thrilling bantamweight bout earned him the reward.

The women’s flyweight division didn’t disappoint either. Gabriella Fernandez and newcomer Carli Judice each earned an extra $50,000 for their Fight of the Night performance.

Fernandez secured her first UFC victory via split decision, breaking a two-fight losing streak. Judice, competing for the first time since a Contender Series split decision loss to Ernesta Kareckaite, made her mark.

UFC Vegas 93 took place on June 15 at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas. Quite the event!
