MMA Fighting’s Guilherme Cruz confirmed, through sources familiar with the matchup, that the rising flyweight contender is set to face Eduarda Moura (10-1) at UFC 309. This event is scheduled for Nov. 16 in New York. Ag. Fight was the first to break the news.
Hardy (9-4-1) made a triumphant return from a three-year break in March 2023, defeating The Ultimate Fighter 30 champion Juliana Miller. Since then, she hasn’t slowed down, securing decision victories over Jamey-Lyn Horth and JJ Aldrich. A win against Moura would mark her fourth consecutive victory.
Eduarda Moura, a 2023 Contender Series signee, recently experienced her first career loss. She dropped a split decision to Denise Gomes at UFC Louisville in June. Before this setback, "Ronda" had an undefeated record with 10 wins.
UFC 309 will take place at Madison Square Garden in New York. The main event is still under wraps, but there’s strong speculation that a highly anticipated heavyweight clash between Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic will headline the ESPN+ pay-per-view event.
