Rising featherweight star Bryce Mitchell and Charles Rosa could meet in an exciting clash on May 2nd in Oklahoma City.
The news was reported by BJPenn.com. Both camps have seemed to verbally agree to the fight with contracts remaining to be signed to make the bout official on the UFC ESPN +32 card.
Bryce Mitchell has quickly become one of the most exciting rising stars in the UFC. The 25-year-old from Arkansas holds a perfect 3-0 record in the UFC. He stood inside the octagon twice in 2019 with thrilling fights against Bobby Moffett and Matt Sayles. Mitchell became only the 2nd fighter in UFC history to register a victory via twister in his victory over Sayles.
Mitchell will face a more seasoned opponent in 33-year-old Charles Rosa who has fought some of the best featherweights in the division. Rosa concluded his 2019 campaign with a victory over Manny Bermudez in October. Rosa is 3-3 in his UFC career and has faced the likes of Shane Burgos, Yair Rodriguez, and Dennis Siver.
UFC ESPN +32 card is set to take place on May 2nd from Oklahoma City. The UFC has announced that a middleweight bout between Jack Hermansson vs Chris Weidman will headline the card.
